· Because of direction of the hurricane winds, platforms on the eastern side of the paths seem to have been more vulnerable. · The imagery doesn't adequately show the dramatic increase in water depth on the outer shelf. Compare the water depth of the platforms furthest away from shore to those only 50 miles or so closer to shore. |
