By integrating the open-source PostGIS spatial database on the server side, Google Earth becomes spatial-analysis capable. Here we give you
the ability to create buffers of either hurricane path or the Gulf Coast itself. In addition, by zooming in and out you can limit the buffering
operation to only the visible portion of the path. Please read the 'Preview' material for detailed instructions.

We'll keep with the theme of spatial analysis, by not only creating one- or two-ring circular buffers but also giving you
the ability to upload your own hypothetical hurricane path and perform buffering analysis. With this latter ability,
one can assess which company's assets are most threatened by a given hurricane course.
